Sheldon J. Sevinor, M.D. has dedicated himself to helping people feel better about themselves through innovative reconstructive surgery and aesthetic facial and body enhancement procedures. The American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), a not-for-profit organization, assists 24 approved medical specialty boards in the development and use of standards in the ongoing evaluation and certification of physicians. ABMS, recognized as the “gold standard” in physician certification, believes higher standards for physicians means better care for patients. Board certification by an ABMS member board provides assurance of a physician’s expertise in a particular specialty and/or subspecialty of practice.

Certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Sevinor served a four-year term on the board of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Massachusetts Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Liposuction Surgery and an honorary member of the European Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.Dr. Sevinor is a member of the medical staff of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. Founded in 1824, the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary is an international center for treatment and research and a teaching hospital of the Harvard Medical School. Dr Sevinor is also affiliated with several North Shore hospitals in Massachusetts. Dr. Sevinor is a national trainer for Botox Cosmetic. Academic Background

Graduate:

Honored to have been named to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities while an undergraduate at Syracuse University, Dr. Sevinor earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.

Residency:

Having served a clinical clerkship at Harvard Medical School, his internship and residency in general surgery was at Brown University-Rhode Island Hospital. He served his plastic surgery residency at the Florida-Jacksonville Hospitals where he was Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery.
